Exquisite deep red glass fat urn pedestal vase with hard to notice deep swirls in the glass that are characteristics of it being blown and shaped by hand at Reijmyrev Glass in Sweden in the 1950s. Reijmyrev has been making luxury glass in Sweden since 1810, and during the art deco era, two of their most prominent designers were women, including Monica Bratt who was active fr4om 1937 to 1958 who was given her own line with creative freedom. She worked a lot with color, and the ruby red glass became a hall mark for her. Measures 6.5"H and 5.5" in diameter.
