Vintage Indiana Glass Diamond Point Hostess Serving Plate Orig Box w/ sticker

Vintage 12" Diamond Point Hostess plate by Indiana Glass, a Lancaster Colony company. Features raised diamond texture with sunburst centerclassic mid-century pressed glass. It catches the light beautifully! Comes in original box with $3.49 sticker and maker info from Dunkirk, IN.

Plate is clear, brilliant, and has no chips or cracks. On the underside rim (resting ring), there is a slight manufacturing irregularity where the glass is thinner in about a 1-2" part of the ring. See close up photos of front and back, circled in red, it is hard to see. This does not affect the overall stability. Common in mid-century production, the flaw is smooth to the touch and original to the piece. The box shows wear (peeling, fading) but is still sturdy and continues to protect this jewel.
